Proposals to provide 'Online Payment Processing Services' were received from three vendors on March 5, 2009.  The proposal of Official Payments Corporation was the best proposal meeting the advertised specifications.  These services enable schools to receive credit card or e-check payments from parents for school-related fees.  The proposal of PaySchools was non-responsive to the requirement of performing online payment processing services for a minimum of five years.  The proposal of TransNational Bancard, LLC, was non-responsive to identifying key personnel assigned to the project and providing references.  This proposal is for a three year period with the option to renew for an additional three year period.  Fees for these services will be paid by parents that choose to utilize the service.
